DriverLanding, LLC ("DriverLanding," "we," "us") builds recruiting landing pages, job portals, and related tools for trucking carriers. This policy explains what information we collect through driverlanding.com and the carrier-branded pages, job portals, and applications we host or embed on a carrier's behalf (collectively, the "Sites"), and how we use it.

Information We Collect

When you apply for a driving position, request information, or contact us through the Sites, we collect information you provide directly, which may include:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code or location
  • Driving experience, license class, and other job-application details
  • Messages you send us, such as questions submitted through a contact or scheduling form

We also automatically collect some technical information when you visit the Sites, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, and pages viewed, through standard web server logs and analytics tools.

How We Use Information

  • To route your job application to the carrier you applied to, and to their applicant tracking system (e.g. Tenstreet)
  • To respond to inquiries and schedule calls or demos
  • To measure and improve the performance of recruiting pages and ad campaigns
  • To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse

Sharing With Third Parties

We share application information with the specific carrier you apply to, and with the applicant tracking systems that carrier uses (such as Tenstreet), so your application can be processed. We do not sell driver applicant information to unrelated third parties.

We use third-party advertising and analytics services — including Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight Tag and Conversions API, and OpenAI's advertising measurement pixel — to understand which ads and pages lead to applications. These services may receive a hashed (non-readable) version of identifiers like your email or phone number for the sole purpose of matching a conversion to an ad click; they do not receive your application details.

DriverLanding: Connect Browser Extension

DriverLanding: Connect is a Chrome extension for carrier customers who use both our Launchpad dashboard and Tenstreet. It opens Tenstreet job templates and reports in a pop-out window from Launchpad and, when you ask it to, sends a Tenstreet report back to your Launchpad account.

  • What it handles. When you click "Send to Launchpad" on a Tenstreet report, the extension exports that report exactly as Tenstreet's own Excel export would and hands the file to your open Launchpad window. These reports can contain applicant details such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, application dates, and hiring statuses. The extension also reads your Tenstreet company number from Tenstreet so Launchpad can check the report belongs to the right account.
  • How it is used. The report is stored in your Launchpad account and used only to produce the recruiting analytics you see there, such as matching applicants to the ads and pages they came from. It is not used for advertising, is not sent to the analytics or advertising services described above, and is not sold.
  • When it happens. Nothing is sent until you click "Send to Launchpad", and only to the Launchpad window that opened the report. The extension does not read your browsing history, track the pages you visit, or run on any site other than Tenstreet and DriverLanding.
  • What stays in your browser. The extension keeps a small note in that pop-out window's session storage (which report and dates Launchpad asked for, and where to return after a Tenstreet login). It is cleared when the window closes. Your Tenstreet and Launchpad logins stay with those services; the extension never sees or stores your passwords.
  • Deleting it. You can delete an uploaded report from Launchpad's Analytics at any time, or email us to have it removed.

The extension's use of information received through Chrome complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Launchpad and QuickBooks Online

Launchpad, our carrier dashboard and internal console, can connect to DriverLanding's own QuickBooks Online company so we can bill our carrier customers. The connection is used only by DriverLanding staff, from the internal console, and only after an authorized DriverLanding user signs in to QuickBooks and approves it.

  • What it accesses. Our customer list and products and services (so an invoice goes to the right customer with the right line items), the invoices it creates, and the payments recorded against them (so we can see which invoices are paid). It requests only QuickBooks' accounting permission, and does not read bank, payroll, or card data.
  • How it is used. To create invoices for our carrier customers and keep their paid status current in Launchpad. It is not used for advertising, is not shared with the analytics or advertising services described above, and is not sold.
  • How it is stored. The connection's access tokens are kept on our server, in a file only the application can read, and are never sent to a browser. Data moves between Launchpad and QuickBooks over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Invoice numbers, amounts, and payment dates we record stay in Launchpad's internal billing records, which carrier customers can't see.
  • Disconnecting. The connection can be removed at any time from Launchpad or from QuickBooks; Launchpad then deletes its stored tokens. Invoices already created stay in QuickBooks. To have billing records removed from Launchpad, email us.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Sites use cookies and similar browser storage to remember basic session state (such as which ad or source referred you) and to support the analytics and advertising tools described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect how well certain pages work but will not prevent you from applying for a job.

On driverlanding.com we also keep our own record of which pages a browser views and how long it spends on them, tied to a random identifier stored in a cookie rather than to your name. If you later contact us or request a demo, we connect that browsing history to the details you provide so we can tailor the conversation to what you were interested in. We do not share this history with advertising partners, and we delete unconnected browsing records after 180 days.

SMS & Text Messages

If a page you apply through includes a text-message consent option, checking that box means you agree to receive recruiting-related text messages about your application and other driving opportunities at the phone number provided. Consent is never required to submit an application, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Your Choices (California & Other State Privacy Rights)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing for advertising purposes. To make a request, email drew@driverlanding.com. We do not sell personal information for money.

Data Retention & Security

We retain application data for as long as needed to support the carrier's hiring process and our own reporting, and take reasonable technical measures (such as HTTPS encryption and restricted server access) to protect it. See our Security page for more detail.

Children's Privacy

The Sites are intended for prospective commercial drivers and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
